My solo show coming up in July at the Custom House Museum will be here before I can turn around. I've picked out the works that I'll be showing, I've written my first two drafts for my artist's statement and touched up my bio. I've checked the frames for nicks and scratches and two need to be repaired. I also need to frame three of the artworks. I drove to Clarksville today to buy frames and I forgot the paint to repaint the frame.. I'm fortunate that I do my own matts and the hardware store across the alley sells the glass and Plexiglas. I'll be framing all next week. The labels, bio and statement have to be there by the 20th of June. So I need to finish that "Artist's Statement". The artworks have to be there on the 27th. Yes, it is stressful but I'm so excited too.
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
