Why can't I get myself together and get my life on track? Tuesday, I went to Clarksville to take down my paintings from the Train Station, very sad! The Train Station Painters all went to the FM Bank to check out the wonderful space they have shared with us for the June Art Walk in Clarksville (1st Thursday). We then split up to go get supplies for that event. Lunch with TS artist friends and back to Erin. I delivered my paintings back to the studio and went to start masking in my watercolor and the ruling pen. While I was using it, it BROKE! Not a good thing, and not an easy object to find on short notice. Well, I knew I had another one at home! I went home and found it and you guessed it, it was broken too. I sat down in disbelief and my husband announced to me that the 8 sticks of crown molding we had special ordered for our kitchen cabinets didn't match. 4 of one style and 4 of another. Two sets of cabinets look really. really great but the other set is naked on top. Well, depression is quickly settling in, so we planned to go this morning to straighten it out. I get up early this morning and went to home depot. Home Depot was wonderful and new crown molding will be here, when? We forgot to ask when. Then it was back to Erin for Physical Therapy. After that we took our camper down and set it up for the summer at the Lake. When will I ever get back to the studio to paint, I hope tomorrow. AND I missed Survivor.
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
