I have several paintings I will never part with and several I wished I just hadn't done. The one of the left is one I painted during a plein air event in Georgia. It's actually part of Tannery Row in Buford, GA. It's one of those cases where I just wanted to try to paint that big metal thing and I like the perspective of the building. I've moved back to Tennessee and no one here knows anything about what this painting is about. So what do I do with it now? It's on my studio walls. If I hadn't painted it I would have always wished I had, just to see if I could. I did enjoy painting it that day and a lot of people ask me about it when they visit the studio..
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
