What happens when you are out Plein Air Painting and the wind kicks up or it starts to rain. Well, when painting with Acrylics the rain can wash your paint off the canvas or put little dots all over the painting. The wind can blow the painting off the easel and it ends up painted side down on the ground. Little pieces of dirt, leaves and tiny twigs stick to the paint. So you put the painting in the car with the hopes your can save the painting in the studio. Well, that's what the photo below is all about. These are canvases that were victims of wind and/or rain. So I got them out yesterday and started with repainting the skies. I was using up paint so I painted mini canvas backgrounds and the skies on the messed up paintings. I let them dry and painted three minis today, they are 1.5" square.
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
