Two weeks ago I finished a commission that I did in Acrylics. I work in different media, I decided to share with you a case I received years ago from my husband as a gift. He asked me what I would like that I would never buy for myself. I told him about this case to store and carry by acrylic in. I use acrylic for plein air painting, I wanted a case I could travel with and I could use it when I painted in the studio. When I need them in the studio, I simply open it and sit it on the floor beside me or place it on a table. When I paint plein air, I prepare a palette and leave the case in the car just in case I need more paint. I love this case, it works great for me because I don't use my acrylic everyday. It's about 13 inches square and 5 inches thick. It opens and you flip up each section. If you lower the first section you have lots of storage in the back. When closing it up, put down the first two sections and place the tray that stores brushes, pencils etc. He got this for me years ago and I enjoy it every time I use it. I think if I worked in Acrylic all the time, I'd still use it. If was pricey, it came from Blick or Jerry's I think.
Just thought I'd share.
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
