Most of my day today was spent shopping for the reception on Sat. at the Train Station. I didn't find what I needed so I have to continue looking on another day.
The reception will feature the Train Station Painters which are five artists who paint together at the train station (my Clarksville painting friends). Each of the artists will display about 4 works. I will have three drawings and one watercolor on display at the station. We have one room of the station and the other room has an exhibit of Northwest High School Art Students work.
I went to the doctor yesterday and I can now put some of my weight on my injured leg and ankle. I feels really good to be able to half way walk again. I'm so happy it is healing well.
The photo above is one of the drawings on display at the station. The work is done on Mylar and it's a wonderful surface for drawing with charcoal or conte'.
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
