I finished the Danville Grainery Minis today and then painted the edges on the 40 Minis I've done for the "Friends of the Library" Project. Before I left the studio today I painted 10 more 3" x 3" mini skies. What am I going to paint next on those mini canvases? I'm not sure. I know I need to finish them by Sunday night. I have thought of three areas that might be good. First, as you come into the town of Erin on 49 there is a lovely church that sits at the top of the hill right on the road and with trees on each side of the road. My second choice is the two lime kilns that sit side by side on 49 across from Hanks. The third choice would be the spring that flows right out of the side of the bluff on Bateman Branch Rd. At this point, the easiest is the kilns but I've already painted one kiln. I'll head out tomorrow to get some photos and then I'll decide.
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
