I thought my Uncle Donnie was the best artist in the whole world when I was growing up. He would sit with me when I was about seven and give me pointers on my drawings. I thought the he was the grandest human on earth, talented and funny. I guess I still do. Donnie passed away yesterday, he lived out west and I didn't get to see him but every ten years or so. I'm sitting here wishing, wishing I had called him once in a while or gone out to see him. I didn't and now he's gone. He never wanted art to be a career. He wanted to do his art as a hobby. I have a few drawings of his I would like to share. Five drawings done by my favorite artist and favorite uncle. (I know I shouldn't say that, I have and have had some wonderful uncles) RIP Uncle Donnie, I still think he was the world's best artist.
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
