I retired from teaching art in the public school system in 2010. I had one goal in mind, to be a full time artist.
Ten years and four studios later, I've pretty much been able to do just that.
I started at Tannery Row Artist Colony in Buford, GA and I do miss the Tannery and all the wonderful artists there. We came back to Tennessee in 2012 and I found a wonderful space but it was upstairs. I then went to Strawberry Alley just around the corner. A few years later I moved to E. Main St. That's where the truck came in through the door. I hope to have 10 more years to keep learning and creating.
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
