Today was our Houston County Leadership meeting which you can't help but love being with this group. Today's topic was Tourism and I learned so much about the area.
Wells Creek Basin Meteor Crater, Our house is very close to Wells Creek. A meteor hit this area about 200 million years ago creating a crater around HWY 149. The crater is 8 miles wide and 2000 ft. deep! The meteor weighted over a 100 million tons. They also told us about the lime kilns, the Celtic Quilt Trails, Tennessee River Trails and the Screaming Eagle Trails. Long story short, you need to visit beautiful and historic Houston, County. We also have really good restaurants but on Sundays they close early.
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
