I really shouldn't tell you how old this drawing is. I started it years ago. It was a sketch for planning a watercolor painting. I started it and decided right off that I liked it and went straight to creating a watercolor. Since then this half finished sketch has been sitting in the flat file drawer in the studio. I've gotten it out on several occasions just to stick it back into the drawer of the flat file one more time. I was looking for something to put into the DAC members show this month and found it, again. This morning, I finished it up. Once I finished, I didn't have a frame I could just pop it into, so it didn't make it to the members show after all.
It's charcoal on toned paper, 10" x 14". I also have a pen & ink of the same scene.
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
