I went to Career Day a few weeks ago at Erin Elementary School. The kids were cute and entertaining. I found them very polite and helpful, the parents would be proud of them.
I did a demo while I have there, some of the students thought that was cool. Most of the students were more interested in my manikin than the different kinds of ART careers. I explained how artists used the manikin but they just wanted to play with it. I finally put the manikin under the table, out of site.
I put the finishing touches on my demo painting today while volunteering at the chamber office. It's a small 6" x 12" gallery wrapped canvas done in oil and of course, it's for sale at the studio.
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
