TAL Tennessee Art League galleries!
I started my day headed towards Nashville. I joined the Tennessee Art League in Nashville this month and I put one of my artworks in the monthly show. I took my acrylic cats. They will be on display through the month of Feb. By the way, the TAL is a beautiful facility. The galleries are spacious, gray walls and wonderful lighting.
After a wonderful lunch, I returned to the studio to work. I didn't get a lot done but something is better than nothing. The watercolor: I had to add masking (I removed the first masking) while that was drying I blocked in the acrylic because my shapes were off. I then went back to the watercolor to add a few darks in the tree line and water. I added some more pigment into the foreground. I also had some visitors today, a young artist and his mom. I actually got a lot done in so little time.
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
