and I've had a few "1st" for me as an artist in 2020.
I've learned to draw on my iPad at a satisfactory level, that I will continue with.
I took two Art Online Workshops and learned so much, I'll do it again,
For the first time, I've had people wearing my artwork on their faces, as masks.
I was asked to paint an ornament for the "Tennessee County Ornament Project".
And we still have one more month to go in 2020!
I hate the virus is here but we deal with it the best we can.
I will thank the Lord because he is just; I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High. Psalm 7:17:
Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!
I hope everyone has a safe and healthy Thanksgiving this year.
In December the Tennessee Residence hosts tours displaying ornaments highlighting each county. It has been several years since the original ornaments were commissioned, I believe Debbie Schmidt painting the last one in 2012. This year they decided to refresh the collection. They asked me to participant in the Tennessee County Ornament Project 2020. Houston County has so much going for it, it was hard to decide what to feature. I picked the Lime Kiln & Quarry, the Danville Elevator in Kentucky Lake and the Magnolia Swimming Hole since it was recently picked one of the tope 10 swimming holes in Tennessee. I mailed it yesterday.

I wanted better lighting so I moved my studio to where I am now. I'm pretty happy with that decision. Above is then, below is now!
I'm very happy and proud that this painting has a home. I'm very thankful for wonderful people who continue to encourage me in my journey as an artist. I hope every time they look at it, they love it and they smile. Thanks so much!
I liked the way they turned out. They aren't the prettiest bird but the very entertaining. They are also the Tennessee State Bird!
