I spent most of the day drawing with pen and ink. I'm almost finished with that garden wall. I just have to add the darks. I hope to finish tomorrow before the open house. I have a frame I can put it in. I have to leave here in the morning and get the food, plates, cup etc. then to the tannery to finish getting every ready. We put lights up today and they look so good. I should be fun tomorrow.

I went in to work today but tomorrow I will be decorating for the Open House. Artworks will be discounted and snacks in every studio. Sounds like fun to me. It starts at 4:00 and goes until 8.
It's raining and turning cold, I'm working on a Pen and Ink here at the house.
Time to get back to creating and out of the kitchen.
I picked up the two watercolors today from the framer and they do look good. I was going to work at home today but didn't. That's why I need a studio, I just can't work here at home. I took the cats to the vets and washed clothes and went
Yesterday the framer gave me some watercolor canvas and I'm so excited about painting on it. So all last night and this morning I could see the painting I'm wanting to do and I can feel the brush in my hand. But, I've got two commissions to do, so I will dream on. It will have to wait.
I had to drop off two large watercolors to be framed today. Then to buy another smaller frame for a mixed media piece, all works that will be going into the Quinlan Show for Tannery Row Artist. Thank goodness the others are already framed. I still have to finish one pen and ink to go into the show. Time is running out. I'm feeling a little stres
I got one of my pen and inks accepted for Reflections, the third biennial show of works by Georgia Women Artists, sponsored by the Atlanta Branch of the National League of American Pen Women. You have seen this before in the blog, but I haven't put it in the gallery yet. The show will be January - March.
I found a wonderful little art store in Athens, GA and it's closer to me than downtown Atlanta. Actually, since Pearl went out, I don't know of a great art store in Atlanta. I picked up two boards (large) and 3 inks. I'm so good to go now. If you know of any great art supply store, please let me know. When I'm in Nashville I go to Plaza Art, I do love it. What about on-line shopping, who do you
I like to draw on Strathmore 500 cold press illustration board and I can't find any around here. I might have to order some, but I need to get started now. This is for a commissioned piece. Any one know of another board that works well with pen and ink and washes?
