I've been a little down hearted since the studio flooded. Most everything is back to normal extra the motivation to get back to work. Last Saturday I did a little plein air painting and I so enjoyed it. So Wednesday, I went in and put finishing touches on that plein air painting and a few I did in Monteagle in the Spring. It felt good to be at the studio. I hope it's enough to get me going again. It's been since August 24 that I've painted in the studio. I plan to be back in on Monday and getting back to a normal routine once again.
Betty Liles and I moved our art exhibit that we had at the DAC in July to the Gallery at the Hopkinsville Community College Auditorium Building. 720 North Drive., Hopkinsville, KY. We were able to add a few extra pieces as the Gallery is so large. We are trilled to be the first artists to exhibit at HCC since the Covid shut down. We have 56 artworks on display. Please stop in if you're in the area.
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
