I'm working on a new 12" x 16 " pen and ink of the garden wall from when I painted in the Atlanta Gardens last spring. The board is measured off and ready to go. Hopefully by Tuesday, it will be finished.

After a long wonderful week-end (Friday- Monday) I need to get to work on the artwork. So back to the Tannery I go. I need to put in a full day tomorrow or Thursday for sure.
Three more of our artists will be featured at the Tannery Gallery Sat. night from 6:00 - 9:00. Pottery and Paintings in watercolors, acrylics, and oils will be on display. Please come out Sat. and support these artiest and the Tannery. It's always makes for a wonderful Sat. night.
Here is the finished Pen & Ink I did for "Under the Influence" show at the Tannery. The artist that inspired me was Winslow Homer, I love his etchings.
The show will open Oct 15th, opening is from 6:00 to 9:00. You are all welcome to attend and bring your friends. If you are interested in entering the show, see www.tanneryrowartistcolong.com for information. The dead line in Sat. for entries. Jeff and I were the only artists are the Tannery today. Everyone else were at other art shows or had business else where. Several people came to look and one group came in and visited with me in my studio. It's alway nice to have the people stop by and just talk and visit. They had a son at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. where I had done some Plein Air Paintings. This is a beautiful area.
I didn't finish the Pen and Ink, but I did work on it some. I'm n organized my color pencils. Would you believe I have an awful lot of color pencils?
Yes, finally, we got some of my artwork photographed. There is a new category on the web-site, Plein Air Paintings. These are paintings done out-doors on location. I've done most all these paintings in the last year.
I've also added two new watercolors, both large still-life’s (18" x 24). Tomorrow I hope to put the small color pencil drawings on-line. Here is a photo of the Pen & Ink I'm working on, and hopefully, I'll finish it tomorrow or Sat. I'll be at the studio both days working on it. I'm working at the studio again, I'm about half way done with a Pen & Ink. I'm also teaching another Thursday Things tomorrow.
I’ve been doing the small 5" x 7" cards in color pencil. They're
quick and I like to think of them as roughs for paintings. I need to get an electric pencil sharpener to keep close by me. The small manual kind can get messy. This size work is much easier to put on line. You can just scan them. The larger drawings and paintings you have to photograph, and sometimes that's just not that easy. I have framed so many works without photographing them. Now I need to remove them from the frame, photograph them, and reframe them. It’s just too much to deal with at times. I've gotten a lot of nice comments on facebook because you shared. Thanks so
