I'm starting a new watercolor or maybe acrylic. It will be
similar to the empty chair, the sun coming through the window onto a table top. I also need to do a few more old trees. I got two "likes" on the Tannery Row Facebook page. Here are the two paintings that I've already done that are in the gallery at the Tannery.

Here's a pic I did using the Brushes app of flowers just out of
my head. The iPad really is fun. It's like finger-painting. I took a pair of cotton gloves and cut the fingers out, so I can paint without touching the screen with the side of my hand. It's working better. There is a fabulous video on You Tube and you'll notice the gloved hand on the artist. Here's the link to the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OLP4nbAVA4and the Artist is David Jon Kassan - portrait artist http://davidkassan.com/drawings.shtml Started a drawing and I've noticed one thing. Use a glove, if any part of your
hand touches the screen, it just might mess you up. I was almost done with the drawing in brushes, and one of the layers disappeared. I had to delete it. I just got an iPad and I 've been drawing a little on it. Here are my first two drawings. The first one is a face just out of my head. The other one is of my hubby napping today. It's a lot of fun and no mess!
I've had some wonderful comments on my facebook on the show. The empty chair watercolor has gotten some notice. It is my latest watercolor, I just finished it before the show. The show has 5 paintings not on the web site. I will try to get those photographed and on the site soon. Here is a photo of the empty chair in the gallery.
Three featured artists this month at the Tannery Gallery, and I
am one of the three. There are 30+ paintings and drawings on display in the Gallery at Tannery Row Artist Colony and 12 are mine. I feel so honored to be displaying my work with Judith Surowiec and Jeff Stone. Judith has some incredible color-pencil work and a few acrylic pieces. Jeff has ink and canvas non-objective works, with some oil on canvas. I have realistic drawings, and paintings. Please, come to view the show through the middle of Aug., 12:00 till 5:00 Tuesday through Saturday. I have to get over to the Tannery and Frame the works I did in the "Gardens of Atlanta Tour" http://www.lunaslilliesinc.com/ for the show Thursday. Wish me luck, with a fractured foot, it won't be easy. Thank goodness, the other two artist have offered to hang my work for me, but I have to have it ready.
Along with two other artists, our show will be up for the next
few weeks in the Tannery Row Gallery. We have Jeff who is a non-objective artist who has some every interesting pen and ink work. Then we have a wonderful plein air artist, Judith who has a wonderful, fun, way with her paintings. Both of these artist are a "must see". And I will have some of my drawings and watercolors. Judith http://www.judithfineart.com/ Jeff http://jeffstonestudio.com. I have a show coming up and I need to get three paintings framed and ready. Too late to be starting something new for the show, my time is up!
