I'm packing up 20 artworks to display in the DAC (Downtown Artist Coop ) window for the month of June. I'm exhibiting some of my more colorful works There won't be any Pen and Ink this time, unless it's a pen and ink with a watercolor wash. I will also have art displayed inside the DAC too. Please remember the ART WALK in Clarksville the first Thursday of every month, hope to see you there June 2 from 5-8. The DAC is open Wed - Fri. 12-5 and Sat. 9-5. Thanks to everyone who visits my blog.
I've been back from vacation for a week now, I've been to the studio three days. One of those days I painted signs for a church fundraiser. I messed up a tooth, so today I was at the dentist and tomorrow, I'll be back at the dentist. So much fun. I need to get back to being ME! In my studio, working and being me.
I've just returned from a two week vacation to Northern California. We take Amtrak out and back. I tried to draw on the train but it wasn't easy. I did enjoy the ride and I'll do it again. The pen and ink with wash was done on the train.
I've traveled to California several times but I've never seem the Redwoods and the Sequoias. I'm a tree person and I was so amazed at these huge giant trees. All my life I've wanted to see them, it was a dream come true. Photos just can't capture these trees. You have to see them. I did get back to the studio today for the first time in two weeks...It was a fantastic trip but I'm glad to be home. |
