I went in this morning and I was able to repair my mess up from last Friday (photo in last post). The sky no longer has three ugly spots staring at me. All is right with my sky, thank goodness for an easy fix. I'm happy with the 18" x 24" acrylic painting and it will be picked up this week. The drawing board has been cleaned and it's ready for something new., The next project is another commission, this time a drawing. That's wonderful, I need a break from painting.

Why! Why! didn't I leave it alone. I was all finished with this commission and I noticed a little spot in the sky line I didn't like. So I thought, I'll just touch it up and remember, I'm working in acrylics. I had worked in that area the day before. I pulled the top layer right off of it. Note: See the orange-ish yellow spot, it's not suppose to be there. Did I leave it alone and wait for the paint to cure out! No, of course not! I just kept at it until I made two more like the one above. I have left it alone for the week end. Tomorrow, I'm sure I can fix it and I'm calling the client ASAP! Before I do something else stupid.
I've had my studio in Erin now for 8 years! Love it here in Erin, Tennessee. The big Irish Day Celebration is Sat., March 21. I'll be at the studio so please stop by.
