Tennessee Redbud Trees are beautiful and a welcome site in the Spring. I found this one the other day with a dead tree coming out of the middle of it. It was in full bloom and gorgeous. I couldn't stop at the time, so I went back two days later. The Redbud was just about gone. I tried to paint it as I remember it. I already had a small canvas with a sky painted in but I like flowers painted in watercolors. SO I put some watercolor down in shapes and left it to dry in a watercolor pad. I then painted the Acrylic Mini on the small canvas. As soon as I finish the acrylic, I picked up a shapie and drew into the watercolor shapes. Which medium do you like best? I would really like to know. I had a good time painting these today.

My Grandson is on Spring Break and painted today at the Studio with me. Now that is pretty wonderful. He has always been able to draw and he is very talented. He hasn't painted before, so he is learning. He will be back to paint another day because he didn't finish. This wonderful young man made my day today.
This poor little painting is a redo. The first one I didn't like so I've repainted it twice. I'm calling it done! Everyone have a safe and joyous Easter Weekend.
I finished the drawing I started yesterday. It's a 9" x 6" pen & ink done with a fine sharpie. I usually use a dip pen but I was working at the chamber when I started and the sharpie is so much easier to transport. I photographed this old barn Tuesday when my husband and I were riding around the back roads.
I was drawing at the drawing board in my studio and here it comes. A black truck headed right towards me. I jumped up as the door flew open. The truck stopped and I dialed 911, The call didn't go through but about that time I saw the man move. So I called again, it didn't go through and the man is now out of the truck walking around. So I call my landlord to tell him his building had been hit by a truck. No one was hurt, thank the dear Lord for that. The truck hit the door and the glass didn't break. It is a little bent in at the bottom and the brick isn't as pretty as it was. There was minor damage to the building and the parked car. Another fun day in my Studio. Welcome to Main St., Erin, TN.

Thank you Amy and Lee for the opportunity to do this portrait of your bike for you. I hope you enjoy it every time you look at it. Yes, while I was sick, I was working. I have not been that lazy. I went to a Google Workshop yesterday. Google is coming to Clarksville and they are educating Clarksvillians on all the advantages of using google in your business. I enjoyed the workshop, it was short and to the point. 9 til 12 . It was FREE, and there was about a hundred people there. I loved these little neon signs they had there. CUTE! My little sister and I decorated my studio today for the BIG ST. Patrick's Celebration March 19th. We always have a great time when we are together. I think we did very well. I took one in the day light but the glare so bad you could not see a thing,
