No, of course not, I have half of the work packed up to go to Planters Bank tomorrow. The larger Pen & Inks are still sitting on the floor of the studio waiting for me to decide how to pack them. I hope to be able to hang the show tomorrow afternoon. It really depends on the artist who exhibited in March. I have to have the show up and ready by April 2nd. This is the first time I've exhibited only pen & ink works. I paint in acrylic and watercolor but I feel I'm strongest in Pen & Ink.
I did get all the framing finished today. I managed to get all the pen & inks framed in black, everything matches. I want the show to look very professional. I hope people like what they see.

I had to pick up another frame, backing board yesterday. I also printed out show labels. Today I'll work on signage! I'm getting excited!! I hang the Wednesday. Today was all about framing. I walked next door to get my Plexiglas cut, 5 pieces in all. I'll need more Monday I’m sure. The frames I cut mats for Wed. I assembled first. Then I cut two more mats and put those together. I had one per-cut mat so I used it to complete the last one of the day. My back is killing me from leaning over the work table. It must be too short!
One of my best college friends stopped by today. I haven't seen her in 30 years. She looks the same. Her artwork was always fantastic. She will be retiring in a few years and she wants to create her artwork full time. She is working as a designer now. It was wonderful to see her again. It didn't seem like so many years had passed. She was the same as always. It was another great day. Seeing Debra again, getting six artworks framed, matted and under plexiglas! I just have four more artworks to frame before Wednesday morning. Then I have to get two more artworks to West Tennessee for a juried show there. I worked my first shift at the DAC (Downtown Artist Co-op) in Clarksville today. It was also my training day! I enjoy spending the day at the DAC and working with one of the members. Several people stopped in on this rainy afternoon. I was exciting when they would stop to look at my art. I had some very nice comments on my artwork too. I'll be back next month to pull another shift.

Another Irish has come and gone! We had a BLAST and thank you all who stopped in and saying "HI"! You made my day. Special Thank You to Jim and Luann (CHS 68), it was great seeing you two! I so appreciate you coming by.
![]() David helped me all day Friday to add improvements to my studio. He installed the cabinets that have been sitting on the floor onto the wall and added shelves. He added hangers to get frames (good ones and those needing repairs) off the floor. He installed a mirror into the bathroom and delivered a piece of furniture to the studio that's been sitting in the basement for almost three years. I think it looks wonderful and I'm so appreciative of my wonderful husband. I couldn't have done all this without him.Thank you so much DAVID! They close main street at 10 AM and the Parade starts soon after.
Irish Day Celebration March 21, 2015 Pancake Breakfast at 6 - 10AM EUMC over 100 Vendors Carnival My Studio will be OPEN just off the Square - in the alley by the Drug Store I taught Wednesday at the Senior Citizen Center. This was my demo for the last class of the four week session. . We are going to take a break until Fall, everyone gets so busy around here with gardens and canning. I enjoyed teaching the group and I hope they continue to paint while we are on break.
At the Studio today, I cleaned and David hung two cabinets for me that have been sitting on the floor since I moved almost three years ago. It should work out a lot better for me and allow for more floor space. I have a lot to do tomorrow to finish getting ready for Erin's big Irish Day-Saturday! I'm ready for Saturday as far as inventory goes. I finished 6 more minis and the small painting above. Tomorrow I need to clean up the Studio, framed a couple of pen and inks and decorate my doors for the IRISH DAY Celebration. The parade starts at 10:00am, pancake breakfasts starts at 6:00am in three different locations!!!! There will be just over a 100 vendors, carnival and I will be in the Studio open to all visitors to ERIN. Y'all come on out and wear your green, It's a lot of fun in beautiful Erin, Tennessee.
