I'm back from Florida so I missed the Crazy Eight Show at the Tannery last Sat. night. I have a photo of my finished artwork for the show, "Eight is Enough" . I'm adding some photos of the pen and ink drawing as they progressed, finished piece first and pencil sketch last. Tell me what you think! The show will be up through March at the Tannery Row Artist Colony in Buford, GA.

25th is the Opening Reception with good company and food. I did get my "crazy eights” finished and framed. I'm very happy with the finished piece. Yesterday, I went to the open of the 3rd Annual National Juried art exhibit at Fayetteville Technical Community College. It is an honor to have had my pen and ink selected to be shown with this body of work. It was a small but excellent show. The show will be open until March 23. This is your new blog post. I didn't get to draw or paint, I had to get the car into the shop for oil and brakes. I do love my car! I have to take care of her. Maybe tomorrow I can draw or something.
That's what I've been doing today. I had to pick up a piece of artwork at the Quinlan in Gainesville, then replace that piece with a piece from the Tannery Row Artist colony from Buford. Then I had to go to get the piece I picked up, packed and shipped to go to Fayetteville, NC. Rough day.
We had our informational meeting today for the GPPAC. We start painting March 17th. If you are interested in the Parks Plein Air Challenge look at the Tannery Web Site for information.
Yes, I went into Atlanta today to get supplies. Binders is a very nice store, but they didn't have the pens I wanted for my Pen and Inks. I might try the internet.
