I've been going to the studio everyday for 2 to 6 hours each day. I did get the commission finished and delivered. It was to be a gift. I got a wonderful note from the recipient of the drawing. I think she loved it. That makes me one happy artist.
I'm starting on a piece for the Women's Suffrage Celebration on the passing of the 19th Amendment. The 2 Rivers Society of Painters will be exhibiting artwork at the Smith Trahern Mansion in Clarksville for the celebration. The yellow rose was one of the symbols so I'll work with that idea. I am hoping to get two paintings done in the next few weeks.
All is very quiet in the studio and on the streets of Erin this month of quarantine !
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
