12" x 16" watercolor in progress
I worked on the watercolor. The photos below show the progress of each day, so this was day 3. I got the masking off, always rough on the old fingers. I added a few darks and started the walking bridge. (yes, this is the same scene as the small acrylic I posted yesterday, but this is much larger and in watercolor). While it was drying I drew the small 10" x 10" acrylic (below) of the drug store sign across the alley (I thought I did a pretty good job on this photo). Then again while the paint was drying I started blocking in, but that's as far as I got today. I then took a walk on the Green Way with my sister. The last few paintings and drawings have been from the Erin Green Way.
This is an adventure for me, something I've always wanted to do: to be a real Artist! So I rented a studio, lets see how it goes.
