I got two paintings done today and I'm pretty happy with the results. The Reception and Wet Paint Sale is tomorrow, - - - Tree of Life Center, 30 Crossland Ave., this Saturday Oct. 21, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Most artworks will be for sale. And all the artist will be there. After I painted the first painting this morning, I went to lunch. While I was sitting there, I felt a bug crawling up my jeans (inside the jeans on my leg). So I pinched it up in my jeans. It was a really big bug, I sure didn't want to loose again - - - so I squished it. The thing had to have been an inch in diameter and he was full of liquid. The photo is of my wet finger prints on my jeans. It was an awful cold, very wet feeling under those jeans. My leg was wet for about 30 minutes. The wet spots were as big as my thumb. So GROSS !

This painting is fabulous and it has that combination of colors that will mesmerize the person that is looking at it. The subjects of the painting are different, but for me it has a unique aspect and that is the beautiful blessing that the Lord has given to us. Where the nature is being created so that we may gain something from it. I can sense the beauty of nature by just looking at it. The trees, the grass and the air that we breathe are all gifts and we need to treasure. It will help us and will be a great asset in the future.
