“May the Good Lord bless you as
your dear ones gather round. May your laughter be hearty and your joy and love abound”. An Irish Blessing ![]() I finished framing all the pen and inks for the show, except for one! I also have to replace two pieces of Plexiglas on two larger pen & Inks. I've already wrapped 13 of them and packaged them up and they are ready to go! I still need to frame 3 large watercolors and four plein air.The plein air are easy! Then to get those wrapped along with the other 20 that will be in the solo show at the DAC for next month. I wrap them in a packaging type cellophane. I wrap the edges and sides and then around the front and back. These frame take a beaten traveling to shows and back to the studio. And they are expensive to buy or to make. The Opening Reception Thursday, Jan. 4th 5-8 Downtown Artist Co-op 96 Franklin ST Clarksville, TN 37040 Opening Reception Thursday, January 4th, 2018 5-8pm

I have two pen & inks on exhibit from a series I did of my son. When I went to find photos of the series, I discovered I only have four of the nine drawings I did. The first image of Chris (above) by the creek is in the show. I don't have a photo of the other drawing that is on display but it's one of my favorites. He is standing by an old tree by a pond. The drawings are 12" x 16". I will be there for the "Art and Lunch: the Development of a Painting". on December 12th. starting at 12:15pm. Members from the 2Rivers Society of Painters will discuss their processes and artwork on exhibit in the Planters Bank Peg Harvill Gallery. Admission to the program is free.
